St. Kitts and Nevis is a two-island nation located in the Caribbean Sea. The islands are situated about 2,000 miles (3,200 kilometers) southeast of Miami, Florida, and about 500 miles (800 kilometers) east of Puerto Rico. St. Kitts is the larger of the two islands, with an area of about 68 square miles (176 square kilometers).
