Bengal cats are a relatively new breed, having been developed in the 1960s by crossing domestic cats with the Asian leopard cat. As a result, they have a unique, wild-looking appearance that is often described as “exotic.” However, despite their exotic appearance, Bengal cats are actually very friendly and affectionate, making them popular pets.
