Abyssinian gladiolus acidanthera, commonly known as the Abyssinian gladiolus, is a species of flowering plant in the iris family, Iridaceae. It is native to tropical and southern Africa, and has been naturalized in many other parts of the world. The plant produces showy, sword-shaped leaves and tall, slender stems bearing clusters of funnel-shaped flowers.
